Ludlow University has entered a strategic partnership with GreenMotion Engineering Ltd, a leading innovator in clean mobility, to advance research into lightweight materials, electric propulsion, and energy-efficient vehicle systems.

The collaboration will see Ludlow’s Mechanical Engineering researchers and postgraduate students work alongside industry engineers on projects aimed at reducing emissions and enhancing performance in electric and hybrid transport.
This partnership bridges the gap between academic research and real-world application. Together, we’re tackling some of the key engineering challenges facing sustainable transport.
The initiative includes funding for new research posts, student internships, and shared use of specialist testing facilities. Outcomes are expected to influence the design of next-generation urban mobility solutions and contribute to the UK’s net-zero transport goals.
